- Reposted by spiceJust a random little thought but I think more games need an unapologetically evil Dommy Mommy who spends the whole game aggressively babying the player, just saying I might pay 70 bucks for a game if I knew that was on the table
- Reposted by spiceadhd is so silly sometimes, like why am I procrastinating playing a video game I want to play lol

- I see a lot of nuance missing from the whole UE5 discourse and I feel like it's important to say the issues with it and its optimization lie squarely in Nanite and Lumen. They are two very half baked technologies.
- Yet, there are examples of well optimized UE5 games that exist, granted you aren't using those two features. Tokyo Xtreme Racer, though more obscure, is one example. Satisfactory is another from my experience. There are plenty of other examples I could list, but these immediately come to my mind.
- So, it's not the engine itself, but the extra bells and whistles not having enough time in the oven and developers tossing performance to the wind for visuals.
- Reposted by spiceat what point do liberals realise that everything leftists have told them for years is not only coming true but needs doing yesterday they're rounding up your guys and you're still whining about harris and decorum

- I think what scares ppl off linux is they look at the social media discourse right off the bat from experts instead of looking for guides and new user tutorials that recommend actually beginner friendly distros like Nobara, Bazzite, and Zorin OS for example.
- New potential Linux user: "Hey, what distro do you recommend for a beginner" Veteran: "Just use Arch bro, it's all you need" That's how a lot of conversations about using Linux go, genuinely. And that's why people are staying on Windows and putting up with Microsoft's shit.
- would if i could, the fn key especially since there is not a single thing i use that for
- i just thought that song was a fun late 2000s dance pop bop without any real meaning to it.

- Tear it all down and start fresh, so we can avoid the layers of mistakes that led us here in the first place.

- the TCM's the part that does the thinking and moves all the solenoids in the valve body here to engage all the various clutch packs to shift gears in an automatic, but yeah, i'm a huge car nut and even i don't really understand much about how valve bodies work. they're like black magic.
- i never, ever played a nintendo console, can someone who has actually confirm this? not that i'm trying to turn this into a console wars post, but when i was a kid i was playing demos of games i wanted constantly without start limits on the ps3.
- there's so much sheer embarrassment about being an american rn and i have to sit here at work, put on a mask, and pretend nothing's going on. mentally it's exhausting, i have to admit.
