The thing that I keep noticing from these files, and more broadly from the behavior of all these weirdo elites, is what desperate losers they all are, and how they're all convinced that they're on top of the hierarchy despite being so thirsty for the approval of people they think are beneath them.
Guys like Lawrence Krauss and Larry Summers were e-mailing Epstein because they saw him as this lothario guru, this guy who owned an island & had access to girls and power. And at least with Krauss, it's like Epstein saw him like you see your friend's little brother who wants to hang out.
But Epstein's in all these e-mails with science people, just as desperately dropping his freshman-on-an-edible insights and hoping that they see him as a fellow Brain Genius, funding their research so he can be a part of the science process that he desperately wants to be involved with.

I think there's probably a bigger chicken-or-egg question here, about the nature of desire and resentment, about whether the gaping void results from the quest for endless wealth or drives it, but regardless anyone with senses should be able to smell the loser stink coming off of them.
