Katarina Hit 🐀 she/her
go loud. 💀🌈🗡
- romania winning the gold medal in racing suit design for luge
- i give it one more day before we see a photo of curl and vance
- sanni ahola trying to strap the whole finnish team to her back i see
- fantastic experience watching the Olympics on Peacock where the sound gets off by what seems like a good 30 seconds every time there’s a switch from content to ads 👍👍
- am i screaming into the void or is it just another issue with a terrible website that i get zero confirmation when i submit my complaint to the vet's webstore
- the state of closed captioning these days actually makes me really mad. like all it needs to be better is a little money. ugh
- right yes this is what sucks about olympics coverage. i just wanna watch the ceremonies but also here’s a five minute (or longer?) intro to Team USA’s entrance, for some reason with Samuel L Jackson. You could VERY much hear the stadium booing when they showed VP Couch which I appreciate
- France looks like they’re going to the moon
- my wife being racist to Italians, “they all look like pizza pie makers!” (with gesture) “with their headbands like they’re from Sbarro”

- i’ve been thinking more about this because also i’m using the bump as if i’m pregnant, but i’m not. i’m just following along with my wife’s pregnancy. maybe i didn’t do enough app research but i don’t know that any offer that option? so i’m thinking about how we treat men with pregnant partners
- how it’s so opt in, i guess. how little the culture is doing to raise that bar. why wouldn’t every pregnancy app have an option to say “i’m the partner of a pregnant person”? honestly, something like the Bump would barely have to develop new content.
- A lot of it could just be rewritten, like the article last night - switch it to a “how you can be a good partner” POV. keep the 3D baby and pregnant body views! we can educate EVERYONE more about the process of growing a baby!
-
View full threadi do personally use the app mostly for those 3D growing embryo/fetus views. i live for that shit. one of my fave books on my parents’ shelf when i was a kid was a nat geo book about life with apparently in utero photos, as i recall
- what a perfect intersection of my interests
- i would like the bump app to have an “i’m a lesbian” setting because it is a little sad to open the “11 signs your partner will be a good parent” article and see it’s all about dads. i didn’t expect it to be good but i didn’t realize i wouldn’t exist in it 😕
