- So what we can conclude from this is that people who own long wheelsbase Defenders have less impressive todgers than people in skin-tight onesies. I could probably have guessed that without the diagram tbh.
- This looks/sounds a bit of a headfuck. I was just thinking the other day about sound in horror, and wondering about binaural stuff. Two old iOS games - Papa Sangre and The Nightjar - we played through nothing but sound and minimal walking controls, and were intense. www.youtube.com/watch?v=1_TR...
- Let's not forget Mandelson's role in securing the majority for the last Tory government through (by his own admission) working to destroy the Labour leadership via endless smears and manipulation. All the people who owe their current roles to that episode should be asked about that.
- Just tried Subnautica Below Zero after not really liking the first one. Noped out a few minutes in after realising the storage locker and the fabricator, which are a few feet apart, aren't connected. You have to remove items from one to craft with the other. Why? Same irritations as the first game.
- In the first game you'd combine materials to craft parts which you'd combine into other parts, then combine again to get an item. I have a magic fabricator that can make anything with lasers, apparently. Is it beyond this technology to do it in one? Head scratching design decisions that spoil it.
- Sometimes I like to click the occasional piece of junk mail just to see what in the name of Satan's deep-fried happysack they're on about. I have to share this one with you. If they make any money out of this, they've earned it.
- I assume the 700 year old ritual isn't currency specific, as the US dollar was only invented 232 years ago. What if I try it and accidentally manifest a pile of Mesopotamian clay tokens?
- Working flat out on a feature-length talk to be delivered in about three weeks, and I've reached one of the toughest bits of any project like this; choosing the core font for the visuals. I'm blocking out the afternoon for this. The struggle is real.
- ILoveMyBitOfTree, my dear Watson.
- The phrase 'no notes' has never been more appropriate. In case the link doesn't work, the specific part starts at 22min in, but the whole interview is lovely. www.youtube.com/watch?v=2l2R...
- Fucking little weasel, not that it should be a surprise. 'I regret being shown The Italian Job. I might not have had the idea to rob all those banks otherwise. Anyway, I think we should try to move on and cover the financial losses to those institutions'.
- All I'm saying is that if you *could* smuggle a few thousand fireworks onto a billionaire's escape rocket, it'd probably throw out the lift-off enough for quite a spectacular accident, and it'd also look cool. I'm also saying that popcorn is pretty cheap.
