- elden ring is the most cursed game i've streamed in a long time. the last two ER streams my internet connection gave out, requiring me to power cycle all my networking equipment, a cable got smacked into a GPU fan, Windows would forcibly tab away from it every time my external HD woke up...
- that's apparently not a universal Windows 11 bug? it will very frequently (every couple hours) drop window focus on what i'm doing and alt tab at random, unless Explorer is open, in which case it'll always always alt tab to Explorer. apparently it's not just me, but most W11 machines don't do this?
- the cool thing is if i manually alt tab out of Elden Ring, it'll be fine once i tab back in. if Windows 11 decided i wanted to tab out, sometimes i simply cannot tab back in at all no matter what i do? but if i can tab back in, the game will be scaled incorrectly and i can only see the top left 25%

View full threadit's so odd. i don't care since it's just a matter of quitting the game and firing it back up (which thankfully i can do because the game is still visible in OBS), but i wonder what's going on. it's done the mystery alt tabbing thing since i installed 11 but the external HD seems like a clue, lol...

- something i find aggravating about using the computer is how condescending tutorials are permanently baked into the interface of sites you use all the time. i've had chromecasts since 2013 and have "google tv" now, which is the same thing, and am still greeted with "Try searching 'pop music'"
- as if it's a magic trick! as if i've never used a computer before and i'm going to go, wow! would you look at that! i said "pop music" into the microphone and it just came right up on the screen! yeah. no shit dude
