A healthy river cared for by its community
- It's not often we can chance to get together as a staff team . Naturally when we do, we like to be within a stones throw of the river. So thanks to Curl Edinburgh for teaching us the skills of the stones , a fabulous lunch at Dine and then pints at the Roseburn bar #teamworkmakesthedreamwork

- Stairs and setts cleared. Basins swept for rubbish Local area litter picked. February monthly clean up of Leith completed.
- A good haul of balls that will be available once our visitor centre reopens
- 4th task of the week already and its down to Leith for our monthly clean up. A bit of bailing before the boat could sweep the basin for rubbish.
- The usual Tuesday crew out in the Craiglockhart Dells again today. The brash fences have never looked so good🌳
- Snow flurries make for a chilly river study but St Kentigern geographers find novel ways to keep warm.
- The spring clean continues with time dedicated to the Murrayburn tributary up at Riccarton. Lots of plastic waste removed that built up over many years, more to do in future
- Another huge haul of rubbish cleared by our volunteers this morning, as part of our spring clean whilst at Longstone. We also started the task of reclaiming the path widths on the local paths.
- 31 bags of litter collected from the local area & paths improved around Roseburn park Top work today by the volunteers that came out.
- A Sunday volunteer session ahead down at Roseburn park. Watch our for those in high viz removing mud from the paths and clearing cans and bottles from local events to improve the local area.
