The problem with our idea of self-care is that it adds one more thing to the already burdened realm of personal responsibility, giving an out to employers and policy makers when we should be creating systems and cultures that are just less taxing on our minds and bodies.
I have mixed feelings about this. First, the violence and intimidation will not be limited to this. This is from the fascist playbook and it will not stop here. However, these people enabled this and should suffer as a result of their selfish choices.
