She went into nursing care last summer because I couldn't care for her at home any more after 17 years. She goes on Medicaid this month. If she doesn't die soon, these cuts may well do it.

The difference is now ICE is required to go after these people and can't release them once taken into immigration custody.

Same with an employer trying to punish an undocumented worker who's talking with the labor board.
