Swell
An ex-chef & wine industry veteran with many miles on the tires ever striving to eat well, laugh often & enjoy swell wines! (& oh yeah, Tottenham Hotspur & dogs!)
- It’s been an unusually cold winter this year, so I’ve needed to adapt the food to it. Tonight a bit exotic with a pheasant & chicken cacciatore served over Locatelli polenta & sautéed spinach. It’s paired with a declassified Nebbiolo from an always superb winery. A treat of a meal!
- What hasn’t been mentioned is that Spurs are now essentially 10 points clear of relegation. It would take a collapse of epic proportions for them to go down. Finishing 17th again though is very possible.

- Had some dental work so I needed soft food, plus it’s 14°F(-10°C) so I made a vegetarian chili with tomatoes, butternut squash, mushrooms, corn, barley, sweet peppers & onions, chopped parsley & cilantro & topped with grated cheddar. Served with a great value #Tempranillo & blue corn chips. 😋😋😋
