- At the OAG, we’re not only home to an incredibly talented group of attorneys, paralegals, investigators, and administrative professionals – we’re also a community of creative people who find meaningful ways to connect.
- Colleagues stopped by to view artwork created by their peers, talk with the artists, and connect beyond their day-to-day work. Every piece on display was created by OAG staff, offering a powerful glimpse into the creativity that lives within our Office.
- I joined 21 attorneys general in opposing a proposed rollback of federal fuel economy standards. Weakening these standards would raise costs for drivers and increase pollution. My Office is standing up for consumers and a cleaner future. Read more: oag.maryland.gov/News/Pages/A...
- Today, I testified in support of the Youth Charging Reform Act (SB 323), a priority bill to limit the number of young people charged in adult court. Children deserve age-appropriate accountability, support, and the opportunity to turn their lives around.
- This bill helps keep youth in a system focused on rehabilitation, not punishment.
- A lead paint certificate inspector was sentenced after pleading guilty to falsifying lead safety certificates and operating radiation equipment without a license. These actions undermine Maryland’s efforts to prevent childhood lead poisoning and put families at risk.
- My Office will continue holding those who cut corners on public health and safety accountable. Full press release: oag.maryland.gov/News/Pages/L...
- I joined a nationwide coalition of attorneys general securing $17.85 million in settlements with Lannett and Bausch over alleged anticompetitive collusion involving generic prescription drugs. Full press release: bit.ly/4agayEs
