- I legit have found that in on longer can get excited for things till I'm ACTIVELY doing them because my plans are always getting canceled Be it the day before or 30mins before showtime Ngl it's really fucking with my mental health since you can't run on apathy that long

- So this is always gonna vary but in a vaccum 1) Are there any niches that need filled? If so keep that in mind (I like to play filler in ttrpgs) 2 & 3 happen in a flux state but basically find the best skills/classes/traits to fulfill what is needed as well as decide the personality/background
- 4) complete some basic background stuff -family/friends -goals -fears -weaknesses (be it skills or roleplay wise) 5) decide on final aesthetics
- To repeat a quote "everything is political, the act of being without politics is in of itself a political statement" You cannot make anything without bits of ourselves being placed into the work, that is the nature of creation
- Ngl as someone that's been running quite alot of private & public games I've come to learn that as much as I want my table to be a chance for folks to change, some folks are unwilling to do so and it's better for the table and me to have that ban hammer on hip Lost too many tables to poor behavior
- Also what starter were ya thinking? Is this one limited to the actual starters, the three Evo phase ones or just dealers choice
- Debating starting a series for my ttrpg channel where I design a gym leader based on suggestions. #HarmonyRoad the gyms are based on themes/concepts. I think this works better for pokemon on the whole. We've seen enough monotype teams to last a lifetime Making stuff based on circuses is more fun

- Quite honestly it depends entirely on the game Are we running a silly little heroic fantasy? I'm more lenient and some silly shit like legolas boulder jumping might go down On the whole though I tend to default to realism if only to have folks have repercussion to actions they take
- Real Talk yall, when it comes to content/creatives, even if you can't support with money what you can do is share and say nice things/constructive things about our work because it truly does help us combat all the weird as fuck rude ass people 🤣
