- Switched to pour-overs for December and January as my favorite local roaster’s Christmas blend was in season. Now that I’ve brewed the last of the last bag, I’m back to lattes.
- I kinda wish I were old enough to have experienced Internet cafes.
- I’m feeling cold and that is not good.
- Also had to install macOS Monterey on my MacBook Air as modern macOS scribbles extended attributes all over files on external volumes. And FloppyEMU does not like that, keeps saying the image file isn’t contiguous.
- Set up a Debian VM on my NAS. Mounted the NAS’ data volume over NFS in the VM. Installed Netatalk and re-shared the NAS’ data volume over AFP.
- Yes, I’m still mad that TrueNAS deprecated and removed AFP support a few years ago. How else am I going to connect from my old Macs?
- I prefer SCSI and SAS over IDE and SATA. SCSI has always been more elegant and flexible.
- I’m in a mood to play around with A/UX today. Wanna fuck around with partitioning and the eschatology (auto recovery) partition.
- I wanna get out the Quadra 950 for this, but I’d need to fuck around with the SIMMs. Could just pull out the Quadra 700.
- I’m high and getting Taco Bell.
- I watched Zootopia 2 a few days ago and I thought Pawbert’s dad sounded familiar. His voice actor played Klaes Ashford in The Expanse.
