- Reposted by Eli ThoréOur PhD student Justine Bélik has published as a preprint the first epigenetic clock in the mangrove rivulus, and the first ever on a self-fertilizing species. With this clock, we're able to predict the chronological age of the fish with a mean absolute error of 28.7 days.

- New paper! 🥳📜 We reviewed 275 ecology & evolution journals: only 38% mandate data sharing & 27% mandate code sharing. 📉 We share recommendations to help close this gap. 💡 👉 Paper: royalsocietypublishing.org/doi/10.1098/... 👉 Blog: royalsociety.org/blog/2025/09...

- Reposted by Eli ThoréPerceptions matter. Despite an understanding that chemical pollution can affect wildlife behaviour, respondents from industry were more likely to be negative or neutral in their responses to the application of behavioural toxicology to risk assessment compared to those from academia and government.
