- I very much appreciated this advice and took it to heart. I probably have six-ish inches of snow and it was very fluffy and easy to shovel, but now it’s sleeting and I’m very glad I went out there, got down to pavement, and reapplied the ice melt that I pretreated with last night.
- Repeating: NOW is a good time to shovel if you've switched from snow to sleet. 1-3" of sleet (which is many times heavier than snow) on top of this snow will make it MUCH harder to clear later.
