I was lucky to be raised by an atheist father and not an overly religious mother. So I learned to treat others with respect because it was the right thing to do. Not because of some "higher power" watching my every move. But today's Christofascists? I don't know where they got their "morals."
It's obvious that they got their morals from the bible. The book points out that greed is good, and that you should do unto others before they do unto you. Make sure to prominently display that shiny gold cross over your shirt so that everyone can see how pious you are. Cry 'Jeeeezzus' often.
