- Reposted by Pinnacle SoupsThis is possibly the most important one panel in comic history. Read it as many times as you need to.When I was much younger, I too would tell a lot of "jokes". I was and still am not a saint, but I have grown and I understand this now. Words are POWERFUL and we are seeing the consequences of that.
- I remember when I used to be on Facebook a lot. I would post random things but also political things sometimes and would argue with friends and others because my page was and is still public. There was always some that would criticize me for not being critical of "both sides"...
- Then I'd show them where I criticized Obama, or biden, or whomever. Never once did they accept it. They only moved that goalpost to "well you criticize my people more." Yeah, because I disagree with them more. The right is inherently wrong about 99% of everything...
- Anyone who complains about "both sides" or says "what about (thing that happened in 1990)" in response to something happening right now is delusional and only out to promote themselves, not the greater good.
- I see people post about "well the democrats do it too" cool, I'm not here to argue that. What is your post helping? What is it accomplishing? Is saying "both sides are bad" doing anything, or are you just trying to sound better than everyone? There's a very current issue, before barely matters.

- It's crazy to me that people give more power to the government. I'm not even an anarchist, but to get more freedom for the people you need to restrain the government, not give 100% of the power to a dictator.

- I defy anyone who argues, "the constitution only protects Americans" to then explain how if that is the case anyone not from here needs to follow any of our laws? If one set of laws doesn't affect them, then ALL laws do not.

- Something I haven't talked about because, while I often encounter it, I am not qualified to address it much: weaponized therapy. I am all for people getting therapy and the help they need/ want, but using terms and self diagnosis to attack those around you is not healthy.
- So we're all in this capitalist hellscape dystopia together and no one can afford anything and everything is just getting more expensive. Eventually there will be a point where their bubble bursts and literally nothing is being bought. Their billions will mean nothing and crumble...
- Unfortunately, this is likely well after lots of people lose more than just their homes and families...

- There's a scene in Parks and Rec where Ron (a huge libertarian) wants to give all the money they are going to spend on a beneficial gov project back to the taxpayers just because he's against the gov in general. When asked how much each person would get back, he says "83 cents."
- My point in bringing this up is that while the government does have its issues dismantling it without a plan and in the dumbest way possible is not going to give you what you want. You will not suddenly have millions from not paying taxes. You'll be about where you are now with less actual help.
- So apparently, there's a new "gotcha." The dumb dumbs on the right are we're all getting an $8k tend from the DOGE cuts. First of all, nowhere does it say 8k. Second, they said maybe 20% would be split to everyone. 20% of what? And why only 20% I thought that was ALL our money?
- And to add to this WHEN would you get this money? Are them sending it quarterly? At the end? How do they determine who gets what? If they get rid of the IRS how do they send it back through the IRS?
- AND! even if they gave everyone $8k how does that fix roads or cure cancer or help the citizens? It's a handout and bribe. they're trying to make America into bear town by promising you pennies back and charging you millions.

- I need people to stop telling me that simpsons, or Octavia butler, or south park, or 1984, or whatever episode or book from the past was "predicting the future." It wasn't. It was very much criticizing what was happening then and there, and no one wanted to listen until it affected them directly.

- Listen, a lot of crazy is happening, I know. But of the things going on I see the strength of people that REFUSE to just roll over. You can't stop the signal and the proof is here. Keep up the fight, even it just means you buy more books or save websites to archives.

- I also want to say that I have a standing offer that if anyone can bring me a genuine wish granting device (genie, monkey paw, philosophers stone, etc. ) they get one of my wishes as payment. For example, if you bring me a genie, you get one of my three wishes. Anyway think about it.
