- “I was lied to!” Says the former Director of Public Prosecutions and lawyer. Right. Totally credible.
- Are we really meant to believe that the former Director of Public Prosecutions could not tell that a man who he knew maintained a friendship with Epstein - and had twice left govt in disgrace - was lying when he had every incentive to do so?
- The ability of many to just completely ignore the Austerity years as if they did not exist and blame Brexit is astounding. Brexit is a symptom, not the cause, of the economic stagnation precipitated by Austerity.
- Why did British voters vote to leave in 2016? Because they felt the country and economy was not working for them … thanks to the Tories having six years to gut public services and the state’s capacity to do anything.
- George Osborne must be thrilled that his austerity programme is constantly overshadowed by Brexit with people blaming that instead of him for gutting the state, its capacity, and its services. Luckiest cretin alive.
