- The part that alienates me about this is that as the kink has become more mainstream there's been an arms race to raise the stakes on it. Leaves things in a weird space where "hypnosis for the sake of hypnosis" is a pretty empty pool while stock in "mind break xenodrug ego death" is going up.
- Not a *complaint*, mind you. I am overjoyed to see it. Just means that "The Hypnosis Community" is a very broad term and the conversation has moved on from the places I prefer to exist in.
- That said, I guess the difference is less the escalation and more the cohesion. Warp My Mind always existed back in the old days but it was walled off to its own space. I think this is more a symptom of being able to just be in hypnospaces on broad social medias. Everything mingles into one pool.
- And that brings a ton of micro-niches within the broad umbrella into the same light.

- Sometimes you spent 4 hours in Gpose creating an image that piles up an elaborate narrative that compliments the lore and themes of your character. Sometimes you just press Print Screen during MSQ.
- Nori works best as a support member of a group. She only got Main Character Privilege for 15 minutes during Shadowbringers and did not enjoy the experience. Part of her arc is growing to *become* a protagonist, but she much prefers being a Scion supporting the other WoL party members.

- Today an older coworker reached out to ask if we were okay because of the news. Likely she saw the vitriol aimed at trans people and thought "but the person I know is harmless" and had the kindness to think that this would impact how we live our life. Remember. By existing we help dispel the myths.
- All we have to do is show up and ensure that when people are told to hate on a vulnerable group, they can reference the lived reality of a person they know and see the hatemongering for what it is.
