- I still regularly play NFL 2K5. My buddy and I recently got a copy for original Xbox too. I’d love to see the 2K sports games return, it doesn’t have to be the most amazing graphics - the gameplay was so good.
- I’m really hyped about Resident Evil Requiem - it looks so good and I love returning to that inner city vibe

- A colleague sent me a link to some jazz vgm just now. Pretty sure it's AI slop. I don't normally listen to streamed music randomly like that, usually artists on Apple Music or Bandcamp. This stuff is seemingly everywhere. Support artists. Be discerning about what you listen to.
- A giveaway to me was that the music had no artist associated with it, it was linked to Spotify but not Bandcamp or Soundcloud. Their music wasn't available for sale but they'd accept a 'donation' over at Ko-Fi. This is all to dodge IP lawsuits - they were covers of Nintendo music. AI can do one.
- (FYI colleague was unaware that it was slop, I don't blame them obvs)
- If the future of gaming is with generative AI and user generated content using it, do we need to just reboot the whole industry? Do we need a creative-first brand and console to go with it?

- It’s my birthday today! I get kind of shy about it but I want to celebrate and be thankful - so thought I’d share :) I got some incredible gifts which I’ll post below.
- My wonderful wife gave me a King of Fighters ‘99 MVS kit! I can’t believe it! What a gift!
- My great friend Dave gave me a Minidisc deck - something I’ve wanted for a long time. Of course the first thing I played on it was @elmore.zone’s Real Racing Roots.
- And my amazing gaming/dev friends gave me the Final Fantasy XIV vinyl box set! What a day!
