- "Driving costs and efficiencies" seems anti-thetical to most reports I've seen across development where genAI is actually more costly and slowing things down, one example being Larien's statement about it not actually speeding anything up, not to mention other devs: futurism.com/artificial-i...
- The difference here is that Strauss Zelnick is the one saying that, whereas for the other article it's the developers themselves.
- Why would I trust the CEO of a company who's known for poor working conditions, layoffs in such a volatile market, crunch culture and anti-union initiatives vs actual devs who are more likely and often forced to work with the tools making claims about it being less costly and more efficient?Feb 4, 2026 14:41
