- New Year, new habits. I'm off feed-based social media for personal use. Off here, Bsky, Reddit, Insta, etc. If you need me, I can be reached through email and discord, and my Youtube channel. This account will now only post release announcements for H3 and future projects.
- Done with work for the year, which means I'm also done with feeds of all kind. Cya folks next year (if I decide to come back). If I don't, you can catch me on my YT channel, Discord channel for the game, etc. Happy Holidays!
- Just rewatched ST: Voyager. Had been thinking about the last ep, how Janeway is allowed to just fuck with the timeline in a MASSIVE way, in a show where it's established there's a future Temporal Org specifically in place to prevent that sort of shit...
- Only to then realize that the change Janeway makes is to get home faster, and thus no longer be Captain of that ship faster, which means fewer opportunities to fuck with the timeline in ways that need cleaning up. Temporal Integrity Commission just practicing harm minimization.
- Also the Voyager writers were bad, but I like my headcanon explanation more than that.
- Reposted by Antonif the japanese artists come over here that’s a genuine tipping point
- potential EME alert 🚨- apparently the Japanese are signing up to bluesky in droves. If you check the newskies feed 99% of posts are now Japanese cc: @surfdude29.ispost.ing @laurenshof.online

- Reposted by AntonLet the people you love know that you love them, even if they already know. In this age of atomization, it's more important than ever to cherish the human connections we do have, and share the compassion we can. Merry Christmas, take care of yourself, and happy holidays.
- Reposted by AntonI think a lot about this. I'd never played Deus Ex before until recently, and it's in some ways depressing as hell to see this masterwork that's functionally never going to be replicated? Mostly because nobody is able to work at the fidelity necessary for it who can still get the necessary funding?
- It's weird seeing people on all social platforms summarizing how people are on other social platforms, as though they aren't getting an algorithmic reflection of -themselves- on each. Like if you're seeing lots of 'X and Y' where you are, it's literally because of what you're clicking on, dimwit.
- "Over on Twitter they're all.." No nitwit. The small cross section of people you follow do..., or the screenshots people you follow on here have been curated to tell a story. There's tens of millions of people on these platforms. Your intuitive distillation is actually nonsense.
- You know even though I kind of hate the game, I was thinking of playing Fallout 4 again over the holiday, just because there's no other game like it. Maybe on Survival Mode or something.
- My CHATGPT programming hack is pulling open the window and typing out what I need from it in regular language but as specifically as possible and usually by the time I've written those several sentences I've figured out what I need to do and I just close the window.
- Holy shit I got one of these hand massager things and this is the best thing ever. My only problem will be not using it all the time.
- Reposted by Antonevery day it was one deeper. by the end of the week you could barely see the video in the distance down the hall. by the end of the month the audio was the muttered commentary and counter reply, the original a single dot, the light at the top of the long well we were still falling down.
- Reposted by AntonWhen we say "no, everything hasn't been digitized," I need you to understand that we really mean is that virtually nothing has been digitized. This is because the realm of primary sources that historians use is incomprehensibly large.
- Reposted by AntonThe fact that PC Gamer and Rick Lane ignore almost everything that's happening in the immersive sim scene is disingenuous and disturbing.
- It's near the end of the year and feel like I'm sliding into home plate, clothes on fire, face covered in soot, just a broken pile of bones. I want to sleep for a year.
- I Need Your Help! I'm actually taking the weekend off from work (mostly), and I need a new game to play. I want your pick for "most underrated game of 2025". Your sleeper hit. Your gem. The thing you wish more people would give a chance. GO
- There is nothing more that I hate in a Breakfast Burrito, than someone putting Tots or Hashbrowns into it. The meat is already fatty. The tortilla is fatty, it will be flat-pressed on an oily grill. There is enough oil present. I do not need a potato oil sponge inserted.
- NEW CHRIS YOUNG VID JUST DROPPED Seriously, if you haven't watched his channel yet, it is simply unmatched for its fusion of cooking science, practical actionable technique, incredible visuals, and compelling storytelling. The best. www.youtube.com/watch?v=3k20...
- Reposted by Antonthings are so so so so so much worse for the lower half in this economy because the things exploding the most (healthcare, housing, food, heating) are the most inflexible parts of a small budget, and they're already maxxed out and spending very efficiently, so any slip is loss of something material
- Pluribus is the best new TV show I've watched in genuinely-I-can't-even-remember, and I'm gonna be obsessively thinking about it until the finale next week.
- I wonder if the younger half of Gen-Z understand that folks older than can REALLY tell most of them are incapable of reading, communicating and thinking, and as they offload their remaining cognition into their pocket LLM they're turning into every corporations dream drone slave.
- Wow, FUCK YOU Humble. www.humblebundle.com/software/com...
- Every further day spent online, having to deal with the volume of the population that lacks even basic reading comprehension, is radicalizing me towards being pro asteroid-wipes-us-all-out.
- I simultaneously love, and find grim as fuck, that that John Hamm Club Dancing 'Turn the Lights Off' meme seems to have morphed (at least on my feed) into Millennials sighing with relief at various ways of the world ending/them dying.
- Always wild when stress/exhaustion just start making everything in your body fall apart at once. Dealing with a headache, rsi pain, back pain, stomach ache, fatigue, dry eye, and a sore jaw all at once today. I just want to go to bed.
