Seeing folks react to the news with "Wait, it was literal Nazis all along?!" is deeply exhausting as someone who has been yelling for a very long time about antisemitism being core to the far-right mindset. Antisemitism is a thousand+ years old and the core belief is that some lives matter less.
Feb 4, 2026 03:17That the leaders of the modern conservative movement looked at the Holocaust and went "good, more of that" should not be a surprise to anyone because antisemitism is ancient and, crucially, it has taught these people to regard some populations as inherently worthless. This affects ALL marginalized.
