- Never ever will I buy anything or support anything related to Pokemon ever again. They got a patent that is so broad that no other game can have monster, monster-like, creatures or animals as partners anymore during battle. In terms of patents this would be equivalent to a nuke.
- Almost all fantasy games have something that could fall under this stupid patent. Do you have summons? Gone Do you have animal like characters you can switch in or out? Gone Can you ride a mount into battle? Gone?
- Most like was this an answer to all the new games, this is a direct threat to everything that was just announced. From the new Digimon game to Honkai: Nexus Anima and in between. Pokemon set the groundwork to go nuclear against everything that has creature in it and looks better than Pokemon.
- Worst. With this older title are in danger as well. Dragon Quest, Final Fantasy, every creature breeding style game like Monster Rancher, every game with anime girls with animal ears. This would allow Pokemon to attack them all.
