He/Him
- I didn't know Bob Mortimer had been Ordained. Cool.
- Until next time Rachel @canonrachel.bsky.social 🥰🙏 God bless you
- Visit to 'The Gallery' in Slaithwaite to pick up a couple of local artist's work. Something but which to remember West Yorkshire. The blue picture of the canal is where we've walked the dog (daily) for the last six years. 🥰
- I wish there was a way to share with clergy in the south of England how epic this vacancy is... 1st: There is a job that needs doing. Interim ministry is over and these are viable parishes... but now they need someone to nurture these shoots of growth. pathways.churchofengland.org/en/jobs/incu...
- Thank you @baronchristina.bsky.social - this place has been a blessing on me, and I hope that their next priest will find them soon. 🙏🥰
- Yalla Habibi was unbelievably dangerous... thinking back to LEL and PBP, sleep deprivation is a challenge on a bicycle. On a motorbike!?! Hell. But that last line from Ryan, "What do you want to do?" what a mic drop. What I want to do is finish PBP in Randonneur time. #FortNine 🤯
- Cycled into Huddersfield to say farewell to an oasis in my ministry: Arcade Coffee. They gave me a tote bag. 🥰
- This from Dave in Elland is a classic example... he's linked to his blog and shared material that's enjoyable to read and dwell upon. This is why I like Bluesky; that the algorithm is basically us sharing each other's posts. "I like this, I hope you do too" bsky.app/profile/dave...
- I didn't do a good job of linking to your blog @daveinelland.bsky.social ... so: "However, as the month has progressed with day after day of cold, dark, damp, frankly miserable conditions"... Dave found beauty in this! davewhenhamphotography.wordpress.com/2026/01/31/w...
- "if the internet got worse because people chose to make it worse, then it can get better by people choosing something else" #BlueSky bsky.social/about/blog/0...
- As search engines pump out AI summaries instead of hyperlinks, places like Bluesky generate engagement. Example: the people I follow share links to things they've made, written, photographed... blogs about cycling and videos they enjoy. I love following links more than reading brief opinion posts.
- I loved that scene in Time Bandits when Benson says to the Devil, "We can make beans into peas"... but the true evil genius was David Warner's character. He came up with Sky billing automation. I bear no ill will to the customer support team when "computer says no". youtu.be/qiPwcW7yr38
- Having a dispute with Sky billing is an exercise in futility. I have come to the conclusion that Sky's billing department is part of the infrastructure that keeps Hell warm. Sky could have the best broadband service in the world, but I'd never sign a contract with them ever again.
- Sky owes me money. Can I refer them to a debt collection agency?
