- Not true. Plenty of Americans have been detained, assaulted, and sadly worse. People are afraid in the states where aggressive efforts are being made. These aren’t criminals, or terrorists, they are parents and grandparents, teachers & medical workers.

- Certainly, this can always occur with any group (secular or religious) but it seems to come up a lot within Evangelical circles.
- And let me be clear, I know some solid, respectable, educated Evangelicals so one can’t assume it’s everyone. Culturally, it seems a common issue though.
