TheSecondBatgirl
Red hair. Librarian. She/Her. Queer. Probably trying to convince you to play ffxiv. Still not actually Batgirl.
- I love that I read this whole thread to my wrestling fan (black lesbian) wife and her first comment was “WELL HE SHOULD HAVE GIVEN FIVE STARS” followed by “and also there’s a huge contingent of black and brown wrestling fans”
- Followed again by continuing the info dump on the history of Rhiyo
- Submitted my FMLA leave request for the surgery \o/
- Momentary major panic of "how am I going to feed the cat while wifey is travelling while I am on no bending/lifting restrictions" but ok we will just put his food on the counter and make it work I GUESS
- Also A+++++ excellent friends who talked me down from complete panic by offering good solutions
- Are you kidding me. Whatever airline it is my parents took to Spain lost BOTH of their rollators. That were gate checked. How. HOW.
- In case you're curious my parents got their rollators back yesterday when they got off the cruise ship in Athens. Also turns out it wasn't the airline that supplied them with loaner rollators but the cruise ship, so apparently never fly Iberia Airlines
- Ok per doctor instructions I am going home for the rest of the day
- Where is @jenniferemorrow.bsky.social when I need to yell about DS9
- Reported my first person on ffxiv in the ten years I’ve been playing. For refusing to turn on tank stance in a dungeon. No excuse at level 92 when all 3 other people are reminding you in chat
- Yeah I think I’m going home if I’m this uncomfortable post appointment
- Noooooo my doctor is sick which means half my appointment is still today and the other half is being rescheduled
- And because I was distracted by them calling while I was leaving the house, I forgot my breakfast AND my lunch
- They let me put together the valentines romance book display at my library, which also meant that I had to explain Heated Rivalry to one of my coworkers
- "Can you include something classic like Shakespeare" ok first of all you told me to limit to published in the last 10 years. (Second any of our students that would read Shakespeare for fun are ALREADY reading Shakespeare for fun, we want them to check out new things)
