- Just a few years ago, when journalists exposed a horrible abuse and publicized it, government officials traditionally took steps to address the misconduct/malfeasance to avoid, if nothing else, political fallout. But this administration seems distinguished in taking pride in its abuses.
- This from Philip Lewis, deputy ed at Huff Post: Civil rights activist Medgar Evers was shot in the back by a Klansman in 1963. The National Park Service has removed visitor brochures from Evers' museum and reportedly plans to remove references that call his murderer a “racist"
