I love sprite animations so much, I've been meaning to get back into it. But it sure is upsetting that Adobe Animate is going down the drain!!! I really don't know a program lets you do classic flash styled sprite animations as good. I used to do so much RPG mock-ups in it sghghahgasgh
Sure, working with animate was really frustrating, and it's sweet that I picked up programming so I can make them a reality, but it still sucks that this is happening... especially for lots of people who use for their projects. It's easy to use for beginners and still good for experienced animators!
