Rocks, politics, programming.
- Tolerating this behavior encourages it. These people need to be ostracized at every turn. Heckled at shows, egged, doused in red paint, summarily barred from any job you can keep from them, whatever—you cannot act like this much of a smarmy asshole and get away with it.
- Just an unbelievably slimy mother fucker right here. The thugs you hired, for an agency that more than doubled in manpower and 10x'd in budget in just six months, shot and killed a guy ON CAMERA for NO FUCKING REASON besides their own viciousness, and the best you can say is "for what"? Get fucked.
- I genuinely didn’t appreciate until GOTV 2024 how much of America doesn’t like school or education and just wants to coast.
- The Civil Rights movement worked because: 1) It had clear legislative goals. 2) It protested strategically in a way that isolated its opposition and made them look terrible. Whatever you think of their merits, BLM, Occupy, WTO, etc.-style protests have **completely failed**.
- I really want to back up and ask a very basic question: how was it established that he's unwanted? Because almost every single time I've seen this kind of pile-on, it's driven by a small number of angry, motivated insiders, and a big crowd of confused, unsure people who feel something's "off".
- I honestly think the best way to deal with this is to flood them with complaints.
- The most terrifying thing about this obvious, idiotic, false sycophancy is that tens of millions of people—voters!—in this country believe it. The Economist reports that Trump still has 38% approval. 38% of the public either wants this or doesn't think it's disqualifying.
- They're basically saying, "What-if AI ran a pill mill?" Because that's the most cost-effective thing to do for these people. You're not going to be getting surgery or other treatment this way, but you can get mail-order drugs.
- Y'all, I am generally not one to advocate for violence, but what do moral people do in a political culture doing everything it can to commit planetary suicide? assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/media/696e0e... academic.oup.com/bioscience/a...
- I think people vastly underestimate how personally weird and nasty a lot of self-identified committed leftists are IRL. And I gotta say: cowardly. The decentralization isn’t being clever. 50s-60s civil rights leaders faced far worse and still organized and planned in defined org’s.
