- A man so obsessed with image and wealth, trying so hard to look cool. A chasm in his soul that no amount of money can fill. He has no internal life, no apparent creativity, no wit, no friends, no appreciation of art or beauty or nature. Almost makes me feel sad for him. Then I remember he's a jerk.
- Seems like there are a lot of people who make a show of being despondent and/or furious, and dismiss those who don't share their intensity of feeling as not really caring about the issue in question.
- I've seen a bunch of posts of Very Serious People complaining about all these "normie libs" or whatnot aren't protesting the right way. Honestly...I think they're jealous.
- Angry that the protests aren't full of super-angry people in black masks obsessed with OPSEC and itching to fight the cops, but a bunch of wine moms and suburban white guys and fursuiters and pastors in their colorful stoles.
- They don't seem to realize that the key to any successful mass movement is...well, mass. You're not likely to get sufficient numbers of people if you spend all your time tone-policing and complaining about meme signs.
- APA: Administrative Procedures Act. Basically a law codifying how the federal government can make rules. Includes a ban on "arbitrary and capricious" activities, which are of course the hallmark of the current administration.
