- Nobody could do this better. RIP Catherine. You’re the best youtu.be/fCVKCUB5w50?...
- Orion Nebula (M42) acquired January 29th, 2025. Orion is Earth's closest massive star-forming region, a stellar nursery located about 1,300-1,500 light-years away. This was taken over a couple of hours from my front yard in Calgary AB Canada. Seestar S50 is impressive. #astro #astrophotography
- Errata....This is Peyto Lake. The blurb about the Palliser Expedition is correct though.
- Hector Lake, Banff NP. For those who don't know Canada, the Palliser Expedition was the first scientific survey of the region between Lake Superior and the Rockies in British North America. It was akin to the Lewis and Clark survey but without the military #photography #Alberta #Banff #nature
- Correction! this is Peyto Lake, Banff National Park, Alberta, Canada. It is named named for Bill Peyto, an early trail guide and trapper in the Banff area. #photography #landscapephotography #Alberta #Banff #nature #toomanylakestokeeptrackof
