- I wanted to highlight this, because AA programs require you to accept god. I've known people who have failed out of mandated sober programs in the military because they refused to. If AA works for you, great; you should be celebrating people getting sober without having to sacrifice their reality.

- I'm always conflicted with big purchases. I'm obviously going to do it before I need it, but when you don't open it you can sell it in a pinch. There's probably some economic theory about "held value v intent" that I'm violating or something, but on paper my pile of shame is a sound investment.
