- Trump’s crackdown is just a more extreme version of what every other administration has always done. If you actually want to stop illegal immigration, then put the CEO of Tyson Foods in prison for one month per undocumented immigrant found working in their factories. Anything else is just theater.

- Reposted by Jason YarnI don’t know if anyone else notices or cares, but when I see a presentation in which the speaker uses obviously generated-AI images to illustrate their slides, it makes me immediately less confident in whatever other content they’re presenting.

- Reposted by Jason YarnFascinating read on how a suspicious pitch highlighted a growing problem in freelance journalism: A flood of generative AI that even prestige publications don't catch, complete with fabricated quotes, from scammers who see opportunity in a field so many real humans are struggling to survive in.

- She-Hulk attended the CLE panel I was on!! Every attorney needs their license credits. #NYCC2025
- My son rushed down after school to get a chance to meet Martin Sheen, whom he idolizes after completing the full run of The West Wing. It was a big thrill to meet him and talk politics.
- I got to shake Martin Sheen’s hand today at #NYCC and I know it’s like West Wing nostalgia methadone, but goddamn it made me smile so big to talk to him.
- We paid for an autograph for our son who just finished watching the WW and we told Sheen about how he wants to go into politics, which Sheen liked.
- Then we showed him a photo of our son dressed up as a cowboy while in Montana and Sheen asked if he was an actor and said he looked like he was performing in “OOOOOKLAHOMA!” Hearing him sing was a cherry on top.

- Reposted by Jason YarnIt seems that Kaleb Horton has passed away. A devastating loss. One of the best writers of this generation. Kaleb was a friend for ten years and in all our conversations I was trying to convince him how good he was, something he seemed to know but also never fully believe. I am going to go cry now.
- Reposted by Jason YarnI’m never going to stop being mad that hedge funds and tech middlemen siphoned off all the money that should’ve let someone like Kaleb Horton have the career he deserved
- Reposted by Jason YarnThis final post from Kaleb Horton is very beautiful and hits hard. This is just so sad. RIP.

- Reposted by Jason YarnMany people and institutions that fight back are winning. This is a large part of the reason to scorn the people and institutions that have caved. When this is over their lives should be made miserable. More, I mean.
- This is the key. It’s easy to come out for the big guys. It’s the unknowns who are getting hammered that need so much more help.

- Reposted by Jason YarnI’m repeating myself, but it deserves saying again: IDW’s Star Trek Lower Decks comics are Very Good Indeed & there’s a darn good chance you’ll love them too. - Reposted by Jason YarnI would love to be part of the conversation on MSNBC related to the Kimmel story and it's chilling effects on first amendment, but unfortunately I was terminated by MSNBC for stating that "hateful thoughts lead to hateful words which lead to hateful actions".
- Reposted by Jason YarnAwful and dangerous to hear the Mayor echo the transphobic bigotry coming from the Trump administration. It's completely at odds with the values of our city and another reason why his single, disgraced term in office cannot end soon enough.
- I don’t think this post is wrong, but it still gives me cognitive dissonance since every media exec buying content relies so heavily on the creator’s level of social media engagement (or says they do).
