what’s wild about today’s mpls protest is we saw thousands & thousands of people & that doesn’t even get at the full scope of this work. I think of everyone who wasn’t there because they were ICE watching, plate checking, dropping off groceries, organizing distro, or doing a hundred other tasks.
There is SO much happening on every street in this city—so many people involved that you could hardly bump into a neighbor you don't know without somehow sharing a signal chat—so many different ways people are meeting the moment and showing up with their skills, capacity, time, care, and commitment.
