been chipping away in ableton and getting comfortable w the process again :) feels good :)
Feb 3, 2026 20:49i think part of my hesitance to continue working on my own music in the past is the fact that im not really at the point where the foundational stuff comes naturally to me yet, so effectively the process of actually getting started feels absolutely grueling and slow and clumsy. thus demotivating.
but sticking with a project to the point of actually getting somewhere with any sort of shape to it is extremely rewarding, it just takes infinitely longer than ideal and for a while the time investment didn't seem appealing even though the endpoint always was. i would like to keep working thru this
