- So, considering that it was a Partner Showcase, I went into the Direct with virtually zero expectations. I'll fully admit there was nothing there for me this time, and that's perfectly okay. But the one gripe I *do* have is that I'm tired of games getting entire segments multiple times in a row.

- Well, Jay had several potted plantd that we kept outside. Unfortunately, the last place we were at, the plants weren't able to get any sunlight, and they ended up dying. It was nice having literal homegrown herbs and spices in Jay's cooking for a while, though.

- To be perfectly honest, DragonCon. It's always a good time, but... with how difficult things were at the time, I definitely needed that kind of joy. And even that aside, it was still one of the best years I had. Lumen actually got recognized, and I ran into a Cream cosplayer as Vanilla!

- Having an income again would be nice. We were getting close to having our bills paid off before I lost my job. 😭 But on a more lighthearted note, I'm a large chunk of the way through the rough drafts of the book series I've been writing, and my beta readers have given me great feedback on Book 1!

- Aside from how desperate I am for a new Star Fox and a new Earthbound/Mother, way too many of y'all posting these are sleeping on the Xenoblade series. Like, yes, they're intimidatingly large games even for most RPGs, but they're easily some of the best ones to come out in modern years.
