I'm an urban chaos witch who loves to craft sigils, read tarot, infuse whimsy, and accumulate knowledge. This is the account where I post about that sort of thing.
You can find my main account with the rest of my thoughts (dumb) here: @sinkcat.bsky.social
- Lost is found
- I made this for a friend who lost their wallet a few days before this, gave them instructions on how to cast it, and it worked in literally 48 hours. I don't know why my mind keeps being blown every time I get tangible results so quickly with sigils.
- 48 hours almost to the minute, even.
- I realized as I was finishing this sigil that it had what looked like half of a pentagram revealed, so I decided to make a physical protection sigil to complete the other half, and a combo sigil of them both
- spiritual protection
- Abundance
- Hit em where it hurts
- Not sure it means anything, but I hadn't checked out my Daily Discovery on Tidal yet when I had posted this, and am just getting around to it now, and the last song on the mix today is titled the same as the caption I put here. Kind of wild synchronicity.

- Something felt unfinished about this one after I made it, so I haven't done anything with it yet. On my flight earlier today, I realized it had a gaping flaw, so spent some time today patching it.
- I read the first half of this on my plane today, and "as something of a scientist myself," I am in love with the way @robertramsay.org marries relativity, quantum theory, entropy, and chaos theory and makes a very compelling argument for how they describe magical systems. Def a good book to (1/2)
- For anyone interested in both chaos magick and physics, and could serve as a really good introduction to either. It's written in a way that makes all sides of it very easy to understand, even when discussing complex topics. I'm excited to dig into the second part, which is practical (2/3)
- Applications of the theory presented in the part 1.
- I'm traveling tomorrow, and I wanted to create my own "travel safely" sigil, inspired by the vegvísir, but more personalized for me, and incorporating an element meant to reduce annoyances (hopefully).
- Motivation and energy #sigil #chaosmagick
- I love how the paint markers burn in a way where the sigil is still visible on the ash of the paper. Touching the paper causes it to turn to dust, but it holds itself together until jostled.
- A bulwark against conflict, arguments ready for defense #ExistentialSigil #chaosky
- More magick for my mental health--to help keep useful thoughts nailed down without letting them disperse until I want them to. #sigil #chaosky #occultsky #witchsky
- I think resolutions are much easier to stick to for me personally when they're made in the spring, which to me is the time when renewal and recommitment just seem natural. Winter sucks for trying to stick to anything other than blankets and tea.
- That said, I do think something I want to work on this next year is using less supplicating language and presupposing that I'm the one who doesn't know what I'm talking about, or that I'm inconveniencing other people in more situations, especially at work.
- My partner has their own collection as well, which is more extensive than mine, but skews more toward green witchcraft and Wicca, which is interesting and useful to me, but I like to diversify, and am not interested in a singular path.
