- I'm pretty picky about the games I buy these days so I don't have many answers to this question from the last few years. I did regret that Pokémon Friends game; I was expecting some brain teasers with cute themes and it ended up being "Baby's First Puzzles featuring Pokémon" Was only $10 at least!
- Very proud of FF7 Rebirth for losing 50gb ahead of the Switch 2 launch. I know that’s not easy to do. Takes a lot of hard work and dedication. 💪
- Quite enjoyed the Pragmata demo. I think I'll be keeping on eye on this one close to launch! The core "hack while you shoot" mechanic is very mentally satisfying. Also, pretty impressed by the Switch 2 version. Runs very fluidly and makes great use of the rumble and handheld speakers.
- Silent Hill 2 called out to me tonight. I put a couple hours into it via PS+ last year but then it got left behind in the deluge of November / December games. Started it back up and made some good progress. 👀
- If they ever make a new Ace Attorney game, my first choice would be Capcom tapping back into that beautiful Apollo Justice / Miles Edgeworth collection art style. My second choice? They use the RE engine and let investigations be fully first-person as you collect evidence and examine things.
- This is what the groundhog was thinking this year:
- RE9 is the fixed nexus point of my gaming calendar. Counting down the days to it. So I have 3 weeks to fill between now and then. I could play nothing but games I own to fill that gap... ...or take advantage of some sweet deals that went up... ...or go deep into PS plus... Choice paralysis!
- My son has been watching the various "racket" videos on Nintendo Today for Mario Tennis Fever. I'm glad he likes the clips. Personally, they're turning me off from the game. Maybe I'm getting old but "get frozen or crushed by thwomps when you hit the ball" just sounds annoying at this point haha
- Had this thought for a while and had to write it down (you could probably stretch a few more similarities into the comparison if you tried, but these all came naturally)
- Wrapped up Resident Evil 8 Village. Such a good game. Glad I finally got the chance. Definitely recommend playing 7 before 8 if you get the opportunity but both games are excellent. Can’t wait for RE9. Excited to see this level of atmosphere and polish from 7/8 applied to apocalyptic raccoon city
