Employment Rights Bill has passed!!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Just a few of the rights of working people that Labour have protected with this historic Bill.
Angela Rayner is instrumental and deserves all our thanks.
That’s some day Labour:
- Workers Rights Bill passes
- Review of international interference in our politics
- Charter Review of the BBC
👏👏👏👏
Have a look at this from Twitter. Juicy or what????
Their manifesto made it clear there would be radical changes to reduce boats and change asylum. We need to stop people risking their lives and enriching criminals. We need safe routes. This is a good move and scuppers Reforms chances to rule
Worth reading from the Government not our appalling media. Asylum and returns policy
The Home Secretary gave an oral statement to the House of Commons on 17 November to set out significant reforms to the UK’s asylum and returns system.

Gutting week for old Nige.
First Labour put forward a credible immigration policy to reduce number of small boat crossings.
Then on Friday his bestie gets sentenced for taking bribes from Russia.
All that’s left is who bought his house??

Gilt Markets respond to rumours then when the cool heads think about it they stabilise. I know nothing but it’s happened multiple times lately.
I’ll be honest I can’t abide any of the ‘leading’ political journalists. Not one stands up as someone with integrity and impartiality. The ones we see daily and on Sundays look bought and paid for and it’s obvious they’re on a mission. 🤮🤮
I cannot fathom how any one person would prefer Farage and his incompetents over Starmer and his very competent government.
They have met, or are on course to meet, 58 of their Manifesto commitments.
And they’re only 16 months into their term.
I am beyond pleased that Labour have committed to this. I’d like to see animal testing wiped out in UK/world. But:
- £75million funding to develop non-animal testing
- End of animal testing for skin & eye products within 14months
- Drug testing on dogs & primates much reduced by 2030.
So this is interesting from Robert Peston.
The claims of people inside No 10 briefing the press about the PM fighting for his leadership appear to be wrong.
As I speculated this morning, it appears to have been nothing more but a response to a question from a journalist!
@mrjamesob.bsky.socialBut the damage is done. Time and again we have to dispute the media lies, exaggerations, spin, call it what you will. I don’t understand why it’s so obvious to some of us, but others just fall for it repeatedly. I’m off to the gym to have a break from here :-)
I remember someone in politics saying that when a politician becomes the news story they need to go.
Does that apply to senior BBC people??
This is the Full Fact status of Labour’s adherence to their Manifesto. This is what they were elected on.
Could this be what everyone hates?
Success by Labour.
I disagree with Polanski on many things. He speaks a good speak. Just like Farage. But it’s easy to say what people want to hear. He’s another Corbyn. Nothing behind the words. Leaving NATO, not going with nuclear and abandoning Trident are not serious policies. Sorry.
They get paid on clicks. I wish I didn’t bite. But it’s hard not to point out the obvious to the stupid sometimes.
I’d like to think so. But there’s only so much a man and his family can take. Maybe that’s the media’s plan to break him? I hope he’s taking care of himself and family.
I try to bring some balance to the site.
I’m continually confounded by the media & people who fall hook, line & sinker for their spin.
Fact:
Changing a person does not change how much money we have, improve markets, reduce interest rates/bills or grow a money tree

I’ve reached a point where I genuinely don’t know what more I can do. It’s exhausting to constantly be batting from the left side (pun intended). I’d love to up my exposure but I already spend hours in it each day. Any ideas welcome. I cover Twitter too
Yes. I do. They’re panicking about something. Maybe they know the Budget isn’t as bad as they feared. Maybe they know the welfare crisis is just the move to UC. Or that the tsunami of good stuff is being felt by the public. But they’re rattled for sure.
Oh my goodness. Now they’re ranting about Streeting in a coup for PM. I like Wes and he will have his day. But it’s not now. He could never do what Starmer is doing. And I doubt he wants to. The Bond markets would have a hissy fit.
As you were Media Twats.
