- I think the reason this tends to gnaw at me so much is that people often conflate it with the broader trans experience of wanting “the girlhood I never got to have”, but it’s deeper than even that, to me. I’ve never been a man and I’ve never been a woman. I’m a kid. And I like being a kid.
- Which is to say, in my mind, I’m not an age regressor or an ageplayer or a little, I just *am* a child. A child who happens to be growing up much more slowly than most children do, and so is placed in the social role of an adult whether I’m ready for it or not.
