- Contributor acceptance emails have been sent out! Due to the volume of applications we received, we were only able to send out acceptance emails. Thank you to everyone who applied! If you can't find the email in your inbox, be sure to check your spam as well.
- Applications were scheduled to end today, September 17, at 11:59 pm! Thank you so much to everyone who's applied so far! As of midnight tonight, artist applications will be closed. However, if you're a writer, we have good news - we've decided to extend applications for a week!
- If you're a writer who has yet to submit their application, you now have until September 24 at 11:59 PM EST. Additionally, we will be coming out with a new wave of Q&A responses soon. (Apologies for all the delays - our mods have been quite busy with schoolwork as of late :])

- Apologies for such a long period of time without any answers to your questions! Our mods have been extremely busy over the last few days. Here's everything you guys have asked to know:
- Q: Would comic artists get one page to draw on or more? A: Comic artists will be allowed a spread. Q: What would the deadline for this zine look like? A: A detailed overview of the schedule can be found at krusie-zine.carrd.co#schedule.
- Q: Will beta reading be included in the process? A: If a writer wants, they are free to ask the writing mod for some beta reading. Q: How will it run? At Discord? A: Yes, the zine will run through a discord server. All of the contributors will be required to join.

- -- STRAWPAGE ANSWER THREAD -- We're so glad you asked! Neither of our mods have a very active presence on Bluesky, but you can find both on Tumblr - art/graphics mod Eggy, at @/eggrolls-benedicts, and writing/socials mod, Will, at @/autumn-arcadia!
- For artists, a portfolio should include 3-5 of what you consider your best works! This includes composition, lighting, technical skills, etc. For artists, 2-3 samples of what you deem your best writing, each between 2000 - 3500 words.
- The zine will have an application process, so you're required to submit a portfolio and be approved to participate! In terms of what you can submit in said portfolio, it doesn't have to be ALL Krusie, but we ask that you submit at least one work involving them.

- Q: Is this zine okay to participate in as a first time zine-r? A: No previous zine experience is needed to apply to this zine! The mods will be grading each application based on skill alone.
- Q: I know I posted nothing about Krusie because I just started to throw myself fully in DELTARUNE but I really would like to participate, would my application will be taken without much art online ? A: To answer your question, the only thing considered in your application will be (1/2)
- the portfolio that you submit for the mods to review! None of our decisions will be based off the amount of content you've previously posted online - and you don't need to have any previous zine experience either. All we ask is that one of the works in your portfolio features Krusie!
