- It's been a bloody good week for skies.
- After the heinz incident...
- Listening to lossless audio fed through a top of the line soundcard, but my computer fan makes noise and I didn't clean my ears out so all that benefit is squandered.
- Well, it is described as a timeless book... From The Unbareable Lightness of Being
- Webcam is bust.... making me look old.
- Seriously. Yes, do everything we can to make in-person accessible and appealing. There is a huge bonus to in-person learning and collaboration that we should value and espouse... But if someone cannot attend for innumerable reasons, they simply cannot attend and that isn't reason for exclusion.
- There's so often this false dichotomy of in-person-vs-online where because in-person has various benefits that online doesn't, that the desire for online is treated as being like... less serious or committed. It's not zero sum though. Both can be made better at the same time.
- Do I love watching from a desk and interacting via zoom? Not at all. Do I love that people can attend who otherwise wouldn't be able to? Hell yeah I do!!
- Gorgeous moon tonight, not that I could get a good pic of the danged thing. Anyone #photosky people in the know, any clues what I should be doing? Treid all sorts of shutter and ISO combinations, but couldn't get anything not massively blown out. (last pic is from a phone)
