- Vengeance For The Serpent Of Knowledge
- As a kid I attended Catholic school for a while and then spent my adolescence in an evangelical church. To appease the adults in my life I did my best to treat the Bible as the absolute truth. Even so, I found it hard to understand why the serpent was so terrible.
- “Knowledge” was always presented to me as a positive thing that gives people power and reasoning. The demonization of the animal and character in the book of genesis felt unjustified. Still does. This isn’t to invalidate anyone’s faith. It just wasn’t the path for me.
- It’s getting there!
