- It's a little interesting that I do enjoy drawing both ways. I've built a style for myself that makes it easier to work in the current publishing world, but my most recent GN has been allowing me to push it a little further here and there.
- I'm glad to get to lean into some more detailed drawings, although not really shown here... it's a bit different from what I've done publishing-wise. Kind of nervous and excited to see it out in the wild someday.

People being tear gassed, helicopters above, I keep hearing pops, and lots of loud BANGS. This smoke is from tear gas:

Neighborhood orgs are all over and they're not that hard to find, don't go asking random people. There are lots of public options to help out and that counts, too!

- Been doing little debuts and ECCC exclusives for a while now. Not sure how this little set of things will do at the show but once I get the merch, I'll post what I have cooking!

- I wish it was possible to tell my clients/publishers/everyone how impossible it feels to work when ICE is both in my friends neighborhoods, my family’s neighborhoods, and even my own rn. Like im feeling crazy.
- Walking around Kinokuniya and from a distance there is several loud sounds of things falling to the ground. Me perking up from the shelves and looking at my partner: that… sounds like the Witch Hat books.
- I walked over from across the store to help pick up the Witch Hat books…
- Every time I see anyone other than my friends talking about Minnesota, my heart aches... it's where I was born and raised so the news hits me so so hard...
