EXCEPT - the historian put in one editorial comment to say that Jefferson was mediocre and overrated compared to his contemporaries. My fellow white classmates were pissed 🤣
Thomas Jefferson was around some of the greatest abolitionist minds of his day and continued to rape enslaved women and keep his own children of the rape as property.
He’s a piece of shit and there’s nothing anyone can say to redeem him.
