- The 3rd UNTSI Training Course in Cultural Property Protection took place in the Curragh Camp, Co. Kildare in January 2025. The week-long course focused on Cultural Property Protection (CPP) of both tangible and intangible heritage in UN Peacekeeping military contexts.
- The course provides a unique opportunity for military personnel and civilian cultural heritage professionals to learn about cultural property protection as a concept, their obligations under international law, and how this awareness can be integral to mission success.
- Here, like in many activities in the heritage field, interdisciplinary perspectives and knowledge sharing are key to successful missions and crucially, how CPP can be a vital tool for peace keeping
