Wondering what’s more likely 1) Adobe put out a misworded email AND support centers backed it up initially 2) Adobe put out the truthful plan, then went “OH SHIT” when they saw the righteous backlash (Full disclosure: I haven’t used Adobe in a few years now 👍)

This reddit post seems to say that they're just putting it into maintenance mode, so no new features but still security patches and bug fixes indefinitely. But it's only a reddit post from someone claiming to work there, so who knows.
