- I don't think I can recall a Bears training camp practice quite like today. Physical, live tackling over multiple periods. They even tackled during a 7-on-7 period.
- The Bears No. 1 offense had the highlights early on, winning on the goal line with two short TD runs. The No. 1 defense then took over. The offense committed multiple pre-snap penalties. Caleb Williams did hit Rome Odunze deep down the left sideline for a TD to cap his day.
- The Bears had a real football practice today. Live tackling throughout the two-hour practice. Gang tackling. Hard hits on a hot day. Multiple skirmishes broke out, including DT Gervon Dexter sending LT Braxton Jones to the ground after Jones got into it with DE Austin Booker.

- "Everyone was in the building." -- Bears coach Ben Johnson after the first day of mandatory minicamp. Some players aren't practicing because of injuries, including LB TJ Edwards, DB Kyler Gordon, TE Colston Loveland and WR Luther Burden.
