- hallo, I am hiring again! - SF Digital Services is looking for a new Engineering Director careers.sf.gov/role/?id=374... This reports directly to me, & I’m looking for a practical & flexible technical expert with excellent communication & coaching skills, who is excited to do both. More below...
- Communication & coaching: not just growing engineers on your team, but being a fantastic peer & gracefully helping uplevel leaders & organizations who are less familiar with modern tech. Team: 15 engineers, diverse backgrounds - about 1/3 government, 1/3 startups, 1/3 big tech or regulated tech.
- The whole DS team is 40 people, with product, design/research, & delivery groups. Your closest technical peers would be the Chief Data Officer, the CISO, the Director of Cloud, & interestingly, a bunch of people whose title is CIO.
