MINNESOTAN. leftist and overall nightmare. hand-holder in your final moments. TRANS RIGHTS ARE HUMAN RIGHTS CHINGA LA MIGRA
- The resistance choir videos make me feel something I can’t quite identify and I think I’m going to go to the memorial this weekend to pay respects/be in community/have the experience of the singing resistance.
- The songs they sing invite ICE agents to defect, and they’re so beautiful and forgiving and kind. It’s so far from my end of the spectrum, rage boiling my stomach acid, trying to box breathe my way out of a stroke in my 50s. I don’t know if I’m capable of that kind of grace. But it’s nice to know
- it’s out there.
- Oh Christ that little puke Lang is coming back this weekend?? why do WE have to participate in this humiliation kink??
- oh, honestly, this helps. I’m certain they are all joyless, miserable, incurious people, and I am fun and smart and joyful and funny and I have friends and hobbies and a happy marriage.
- IANAL but this is fun.
- If you want to read the transcript of the February 3 hearing where Julie Le had her "this job sucks" meltdown, now you can: drive.google.com/file/d/1FnY2...
- I really did underestimate how fucking craven a lot of the media is. I have always understood journalism to be a check on governmental power, that’s why it’s the fourth estate. This misogyny is so normalized that no one even pushes back, we have to keep begging men to treat us like…people. Gross.
- Ugh I’m having the Bleak Depression (betting it’s hormonal)
- bruh if I see you outside a daycare I’m gonna ***** your tires
- I don’t know how this would be possible, as there are tens of thousands of polling places in the United States. There are ~20k ICE agents and I’m guessing recruitment isn’t great?
- 🚨BREAKING: Steve Bannon said Tuesday that the federal government is planning to send Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers to patrol polling stations during this year’s midterm elections. www.democracydocket.com/news-alerts/...
- anyone can submit to VAERS. Any person who gets a shot could submit anything after the shot and attribute it to an adverse reaction. Should adverse reactions be tracked? Yes. Should any layperson be able to submit reports? No, I think you should have to be a clinician and I think patients should
- NEW: NEW: HHS is working on an AI tool to analyze VAERS—a database of vaccine injury claims to which anyone can make submissions—and "generate hypotheses." This is from @emilymullin.bsky.social:
- call their nurse triage/pharmacist/provider to determine what is an adverse reaction vs a side effect vs something incidental/unrelated. tl;dr VAERS data is unreliable and unverified and should not be used as a basis for policy change.
- I have slept 7 hours in the past two nights. 😃
